New Year. New Store. New Charity.

Well it is 2010.  The new year brings along new changes.  We have a totally new store on the awesome Storenvy site.  We also have retooled our website and myspace.

The big change that has come is that we are now working with Charity: Water instead of IMA World Health.  IMA has done some great work since we have started and they still need continued support to fulfill their goals.  Life Straws though, were always a very temporary solution.  A Band-aid to cover a gaping cannonball wound.  They are important but long term solutions should be a priority.

We have had our eye on Charity: Water for some time now and they have really impressed us with their vision, ability to fund raise, and organization.  They already have a long term mission to getting clean water to Haiti.

We are excited about the new year and helping Charity: Water to fulfill their goals.

Yep another video but this is important.  I already linked to it on our twitter but I wanted to post it here too.

The trailer for the 2008 documentary “Flow”.  This will make you angry.  This documentary shows the future of water privatation in the world and how the scarcity of clean water can be abused by corporations for profit.

This is a very well done animation that shows the plain reality facing many people in the world.  Sanitation systems are just as important as clean drinking water solutions.

Life Straw Stress Test- Video contains Cow dung so don’t watch if you can’t handle that.  This really shows you how well Life Straw Systems work.

This is an older video but it still very cool.

The watercone is such a simple concept but it is brilliant.  It requires no energy and can desalinate water while purifiying it.

Iamthetrend is a directory  for indie clothing companies.  They didn’t have to feature us so it was really nice of them to help promote us.  There are some great clothing companies on there so check them out.  Also you can rate us on the site.

Go print out one of our flyers and canvas your town with them.

We have a color version and a non-color version.

There is a lot of good info in this 20 page booklet, but be advised it is a 14.2 MB .pdf file so it will load slow in your browser.  You might want to save the link as a .pdf file to your desktop by right clicking the link and selecting “save as”.
